Uninsured Boaters
Definition: Uninsured boaters coverage pays a covered person occupying a boat or personal watercraft for bodily injury caused by the owner or operator of an uninsured or underinsured boat or personal watercraft.
Examples:
John is kicked back fishing in his boat when out of nowhere a jet ski crashes into John breaking his arm. The person operating the jet ski has no insurance. John’s own boat insurance policy will cover John’s bodily injury including medical bills, loss of earnings, future medical treatment, and future loss of earnings as well as pain and suffering under the uninsured boaters coverage.
