Medical Pay
Definition: The medical pay coverage pays for reasonable expenses for necessary medical and funeral services received by an insured person due to bodily injury he/she sustained in an accident involving an insured watercraft. Typical coverage options: $1,000, $2,500, $5,000, $7,500, or $10,000 per occurrence. No deductible applies.
Examples:
John is on his fishing boat and hits some driftwood. John loses his footing and trips, spraining his ankle. Because he was on an insured boat with a boat insurance policy, which included medical pay of $2,500, his medical bills will be covered with no deductible.
